Rosidal SC (soft compression) is used as the first layer for light compression and skin protection under compression bandages. Rosidal SC helps to distribute pressure evenly and makes compression bandages less prone to slipping. The foam component of the bandage consists of 100 % polyurethane and the bandage also has an integrated fabric layer consisting of 60 % polyamide and 40 % cotton. This fabric layer is applied against the skin for protection and to help control excess moisture. This also removes the need the apply an additional tubular bandage. Rosidal SC is reusable (single patient use only) and can be washed up to 50 times. This means it is a very cost effective option for patients who require ongoing compression therapy i.e. for the treatment of venous leg ulcers. Rosidal SC is simple and easy to apply. Rosidal SC is available individually, as well as a system component (first layer) for Rosidal TCS.
