General Description Virkon is a unique formulation that combines cleaning and disinfection in one action. Active solution is produced by dissolving tablets or powder in water. Virkon has an in-built dye indicator of activity which helps users monitor the use-life up to 5 days after activation. Virkon solution is effective under dirty conditions allowing one-step cleaning and disinfection through high tolerance of organic challenge. Virkon powder can be applied directly to body fluid spills, including urine, for rapid disinfection prior to disposal.
